Bath Savings staff were honored to be recognized with multiple awards at the 2022 Greater Freeport Chamber of Commerce Gala and Chamber Choice Awards.

Freeport Branch Manager Michelle Barker took home the Ed Bonney Community Contribution Award. This award is named for a long-time Freeport resident who set the standard for what it means to serve one’s community and citizens.  Michelle and Ed were wonderful friends during his lifetime, and he could often be found in her office telling stories and sharing laughs. Michelle received this honor for her many hours of community service, including serving as president of the Greater Freeport Chamber of Commerce Board for six years.  Her energy, spirit, and leadership are an inspiration to her peers and businesspeople in the Freeport community, especially during the difficulties that the pandemic presented. 

Bath Savings was also honored to receive the Best Customer Service Award, a recognition voted on by the entire community.
